Angela Montreuil ('07) is one of the most decorated women's volleyball players in school history, helping lead the Tornado to four straight Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) regular season and tournament titles from 2003-06. In her four years donning the scarlet and navy, King posted 116 wins and a winning percentage of .707 under Hall of Fame coach Susie Toomey. The Tornado reached the regional finals three times, taking home the regional championship in 2006 and advancing to the national tournament.

Montreuil set the school record with 1,031 digs in 2005 and followed it with 1,001 digs during her senior season of 2006. In her career she posted 3,016 digs in 411 sets for an average of 7.34 digs per set. In her career, Montreuil had a stellar serve reception percentage of 94.2 percent.

Following the 2006 season, Montreuil was selected the NAIA National Libero of the Year, honorable mention NAIA All-America and NAIA Region XII Libero of the Year. She was named AAC Libero of the Year and All-AAC in both 2005 and 2006 as well as an AAC Scholar Athlete of the Year from 2004-06. Montreuil was named AAC Libero of the Week six times throughout her career and garnered NAIA Region XII All-Tournament team accolades in 2005. She was also an NAIA Academic All-American in both 2005 and 2006.
