BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Lucy Holbrough of the King University women's golf team has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Women's Golfer of the Week after she finished second at the Buzz Off Invitational over the weekend.
Holbrough, a junior from Toton, England, shot an even-par round of 72 in the first round before firing a final round of 75, finishing a three-over par 147. She was the top finisher for the Tornado, who won the event by four strokes over Emory & Henry College.
The Tornado will open their spring schedule at the Spring Kickoff, hosted at the Golf Club of South Hampton in St. Augustine, Fla. The tournament will be Feb. 12-13.
