Spartanburg, S.C. – King University women's golf concluded its 2026 season on Tuesday at the Conference Carolinas Championship, finishing 12th overall with a three-day total of 1,070 (+206). The Tornado posted a final round score of 357 (+69) to wrap up the tournament.
Senior
Kate Watanasiripong led the way for King, tying for 33rd after rounds of 85, 78, and 85 for a 248 (+32).
Gloria Capo followed in 44th place, highlighted by her strongest round of the tournament on Tuesday with an 82 to finish at 257 (+41).
Carolina Calzada finished 51st with rounds of 94, 93, and 95 (282, +66), while senior
Joanna Stevens placed 52nd after carding rounds of 94, 94, and 95 for a total of 283 (+67).
Beyond the scores, Tuesday marked the end of the 2025-26 season and the final collegiate round for seniors Watanasiripong and Stevens. The pair each had a memorable walk down their final hole alongside Coach Kamm, closing out their careers in a King uniform with a moment that reflected their dedication and commitment to the program.
Throughout the season, the Tornado showed resilience and continued growth, competing against a strong Conference Carolinas field. With the 2025-26 season now complete, King turns the page while celebrating the contributions of its graduating seniors.
