BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University Esports continues to make noise in the final weeks of regular season play. FIFA locked in their bid to the post season Monday and Rocket League posted more wins this week moving them into 5
th overall. Madden had an extremely good run but a fast Kansas City team and a one possession game made the post-season difference.
ROCKET LEAGUE
- The Tornado thus far have compiled a PlayVS record of 27-6 placing them in 5th overall
- The trio is sitting very comfortably though as the top 32 teams are invited to the post-season
- Matt Bilbruck, Luke Buffington and Rory Johnsen will most likely receive a bye in the first round of the tournament, given they can win their final matches next Thursday
- First place prize of the PlayVS league is $5000
MADDEN
- Drayton Virgo had a stellar season in King University's inaugural PlayVS Madden competition
- He completed the season 6-6 while giving up 4 forfeits to finish 22nd

- During his PC play, Virgo managed to climb as high as 12th on the world wide leaderboard
FIFA
- Austin Pantaleo began the season a bit late but quickly moved into a great position
- He went undefeated in his first three weeks of competition
- Earlier this week he showed some humanity with a 1-2 loss against Buena Vista College
- He was down 4-0 in game one only to post a massive comeback and win 5-4
- Pantaleo has solidified his position in the playoffs and will begin competition next week
