Franklin, Ga. The King University Flag Football team went to Emmanuel for the first-ever King University Flag Football game, as well as the first-ever Conference Carolinas conference game. The tornado would fall 57-0 in a tough game.
Emmanuel would score the first points on their first drive and kept the gas on the pedal all four quarters, scoring nine offensive touchdowns.
Some key players for King saw
Jadee Salvador take snaps at the quarterback position, throwing for 192 yards on 22 completions of 48 attempts, and added another 33 yards on her feet, running the ball.
Alyssa Ramos stood out on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball for King, having 120 receiving yards with 11 receptions. Ramos also added nine solo tackles and totaled 11 total tackles with a sack and three pass breakups.
Faith Carter was able to make key plays on defense, adding five more solo tackles and one more assisted tackle.
Nyja Arnold was able to grab a sack of her own and tackle for a loss.
