SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The King University men's swim team defeated Converse University Valkyries by a score of 142-108 to conclude the 2024 portion of their schedule.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The relay teams won three of the four events, winning the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:31.72, the 200 medley relay at 1:47.06 and finally closed the meet with a 3:12.37 time in the 400 freestyle relay.
- Oscar Kroos won all three of his individual events: the 200 breaststroke (2:09.65), the 50 butterfly (23.37), and the 200 individual medley (1:54.78).
- Sam Osowiecki won the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.07, took second place in the 200 freestyle at 1:47.36, and fourth in the 50 breaststroke at 28.86 seconds.
- Edu Elizaran Galan won the 50 backstroke at 25.53 seconds and won the 200 back with a time of 2:02.50. He also took second place in the 50 freestyle at 22.23.
- Vlad Fedoseev finished in second place in the 50 butterfly with his time of 23.63 and third place in the 200 freestyle at 1:49.23.
- Jack McDaniel swam the 50 breaststroke in 27.98 seconds for second place. Matthew Montenegro-Strunk earned second place in the 200 butterfly (2:03.55) and third in the 200 IM (2:05.51).
- Patricio Perezpuebla was second in the 200 breaststroke at 2:15.53, second in the 200 IM at 2:05.51 and third in the 50 breaststroke (28.51).

The King University men's swim team will take a break for the holidays and be back in action on January 24 as they host a tri-meet against Conference Carolinas opponents Emory & Henry and Lees-McRae.
