WINSTON SALEM, N.C. – The King University track and field teams opened their indoor seasons at the Mondo College Invitational Saturday, with multiple Tornado setting personal records and recording top-10 finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Men
- Clathon Henfield finished fifth in the long jump, marking 6.57 meters.
- Jordan Keith placed ninth in the mile, finishing with a time of 4:37.25.
- Matthew Henfield came fifth in the 400 meters, crossing the line in 54.13 seconds.
- In the shot put, Kolin Miller marked 13.16 meters to finish eighth.He would also finish third in the weight throw with a mark of 16.18 meters.
HOW IT HAPPENED - Women
- Katy Neubert finished second in the 800 meters, finishing in 2:26.67.
- Morgan Whitley came seventh in the mile, setting a personal record time of 5:35.28
- Whitley also finished ninth in the 3000 meters with a time of 11:05.35.
- Emily Christian also set a personal record, finishing the 60 meter hurdles in 10.01 seconds.
- Ruthie Fripp marked 13.32 meters in the weight throw to finish eighth.
