Hannah O'Dea of the King University acrobatics & tumbling team was selected Conference Carolinas Athlete of the Week following her performance against West Liberty University.
O'Dea helped the 10th-ranked Tornado defeat 11th-ranked West Liberty on Tuesday by competing in 10 heats as a top and tumbler. She helped King match a program-high score of 9.90 in the compulsory pyramid as King scored 37.65 in the event, their second highest in program history.
She also helped the Tornado set season-highs in compulsory acro and toss. O'Dea was also a member of groups that set season-high scores in acro heat 1 and toss heat 1 as well as the tumbling quad pass. In the tumbling quad pass, King scored 8.300 out of a possible 8.50.
