MURFREESBORO, N.C. – In the final tune-up before the Conference Carolinas Championships, the King University men's swimming team fell to Chowan University.
Sam Osowiecki swam well for the Tornado, winning a pair of races.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado started by winning the 200 meter medley relay as the quartet of Osowiecki, Dale Bruce, Gideon Bezuidenhout and Luke Hunt finished in 1:53.30.
- Jan Kuljak finished the 400 meter freestyle in 4:23.76 while Kas McIntire touched the wall in 4:33.17.
- Osowiecki won the 50 meter backstroke with a time of 29.35 seconds.
- Kessler Dayton won the 50 meter breaststroke with a time of 31.37 seconds.
- In the 100 meter butterfly, Bruce finished runner-up with a time of 1:00.78.
- Hunt finished runner-up with a 50 meter free style time of 25.15 seconds.
- King took the top two spots in the 100 meter freestyle, as Kuljak finished first with a time of 54.71 seconds.
- Bezuidenhout touched the wall in 56.21 to finish runner-up.
- Osowiecki's 100 meter backstroke time of 1:03.67 gave him another first place finish.
- Bruce came in third in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:13.88.
- In the 50 meter butterfly, McIntire touched the wall in 31.43 seconds to finish third.
- Bezuidenhout won the 100 meter individual medley with a time of 1:02.09 while Dayton finished third with a time of 1:03.36.
- The Tornado closed with a runner-up finish in the 200 meter freestyle relay as the team of Dayton, McIntire, Hunt and Kuljak finished in 1:46.25.
