BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Championship, the league announced their award winners and
Katy Neubert of the King University women's cross country team earned the Elite 23 Award.
The Conference Carolinas Elite 23 honors student-athletes with the highest cumulative GPA at their respective championship site. The award is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 Award, allowing all student-athletes at the championship site to win the award.
This marks the third Conference Carolinas Elite 23 Award for Neubert as she earned the award in outdoor track & field in2020-21 and in cross country last season. The senior carries a 4.00 GPA while majoring in cell and molecular biology.
Last season Neubert was selected Conference Carolinas Scholar-Athlete of the Year for women's indoor track & field and earned CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America honors.
