CHARLOTTE, NC. – The King University women's cross country team competed in the Queen City Invite on Friday, September 12
th.

FINAL SCORE: 15th out of 20 (7th for Division 2),
LOCATION: McAlpine Creek Park - Charlotte, NC
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior, Ermay Vazquez Adame, led the Tornado ladies with a time of 19:30, good for 77th place out of 228 runners. Just the second half of the race alone, Vazquez Adame passed 24 other runners.
- Freshmen, Kailee-Ann Conner, ran an aggressive race from the gun and just missed a top 100 finish, with an impressive collegiate debut and a time of 20:00, good for 102nd place.
- Not too far behind Conner were junior, Lexie LaDuc, and senior, Emily Ward, with times of 20:15 and 20:40, respectively.
