DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The King University cheer team traveled to the Sunshine State this past week to compete in the National Cheerleading Association's national championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tornado finished the week with a top-ten finish, placing King as one of the United States' most elite programs.
- King was just seven points away from a finishing in the top three positions, which shows just how competitive and tight the national championships were.
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Almost the entirety of the Tornado roster had never competed before. The team showed incredible potential moving forward.
