King made a run with a solid tumbling event, but the Valkyries used a great team event to take the meet 273.080-266.905.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Reynolds recorded the third perfect score in program history, and first in the tumbling event with her 10.000 score in the tumbling open pass.
- Converse held the lead the entire meet, but the Tornado came back with a solid tumbling event, scoring 53.700 to pull within two points of the Valkyries.
- However, Converse had a great team event to take the meet and the first Conference Carolinas Championship.
