BELMONT, N.C. – The King University earned their third win of the season with a 265.590-255.935 victory at Belmont Abbey College on Thursday night. The Tornado received a solid tumbling performance en route to the victory.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The tumbling event was again the leader for the Tornado as they scored 53.75, which is the second-highest score in program history.
- Reynolds set a program record with a score of 9.900 in the tumbling open pass. She broke her previous record of 9.875 that was set earlier this season against Lander University.
- The Tornado set six season-high scores in the meet, coming in compulsory heat 3, acro heat 1, pyramid heat 1, toss heat 1, tumbling duo pass and the tumbling six-element pass matched the season-high.
- The team even score as the fifth-highest in program history.
- King starts the season 3-0 for the second time in program history. The Tornado were 2-0 a season ago before the season was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
- The Tornado last started 3-0 in 2019.
