KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – The King University women's cross country team finished 11th at the VertCross Invitational and were led by Kirstin Barton on Friday evening.

- Barton finished 64th with a time of 24:31.37.
- Kaitlin Rivera came in next at 24:48.76.
- Crossing the finish line next was Katy Neubert with a time of 25:08.80.
- Rebekah Thomas wasn't far behind at 25:25.69.
- Meg Davis covered the course in 25:51.48.
- Coming in next for the Tornado was Brianna Barrett with a time of 27:27.58.
- Andrea Stansberry rounded out the team with a time of 33:13.27.
FOR THE FOES
- High Point University won the team title while Famke Heinst took the individual title with a time 21:12.73.
