JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The King University men's track and field team had a solid weekend at the ETSU Track & Field Invitational. Adriel McPhee led the way for the Tornado, finishing fifth in the 60 meter hurdles.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- McPhee qualified for the finals in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.33 seconds. The mark set a King University school record. In the finals, McPhee posted a time of 8.40 to take fifth place in the event.
- James Russell Ballowe ran the 3000 meter event in a time of 8:58.46 to finish in seventh place. He also ran the 5000 meter race and posted a time of 15:52.73 to take 14th place.
- John Jablanski and Braidon Miller both set personal records in the weight throw. Jablanski threw a distance of 14.26 meters to take 10th place while Miller threw 14.13 meters to finish 12th.
- Jaylen Foster competed in the triple jump and took home seventh place in the event with a distance of 13.75 meters.
