MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The King University women's cross country team closed the season with a 22nd place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional. Kaitlin Rivera led the way for the Tornado with a 45th place finish.

- Rivera covered the 6k distance in 23:15.90 to finish 45th.
- Kayce Byrnside followed with a time of 24:29.82. She set a personal record, bettering her previous low time of 28:07.5.
- Coming in next was Abbi Pierce who finished in a time of 26:07.36.
- Alisha Steward covered the 6k distance in 26:41.24.
- Rounding out the squad was Kirstin Barton who finished in 27:36.37.
FOR THE FOES
- The University of Montevallo won the regional with Queens University taking second and Wingate University finishing third.
- Leah Hanle of the University of Mount Olive won the individual title with a time of 21:03.65.
