BRISTOL, Tenn. — King University Swimming added to its growing list of academic achievements on Tuesday as three Tornado student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. The announcement, released by CSC and Conference Carolinas, recognized the top men's and women's swimming & diving student-athletes in NCAA Division II for their excellence both in the classroom and in competition.
King's honorees included Evan Hayes on the men's side and Cassie Lowe and Jordan Houck for the women — each earning a place among the nation's top academic performers.
They were three of 28 total selections from Conference Carolinas, representing six institutions across the league.
A Prestigious Academic Honor
The CSC Academic All-District® program highlights student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding academic performance while competing at a high level in their sport. Honorees must meet rigorous GPA and athletic participation standards, making the recognition one of the most respected academic awards in collegiate athletics.
All Academic All-District selections now advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, where first-, second-, and third-team honorees will be announced later this month.
King University Honorees
Hayes earned his first Academic All-District selection following another strong season in the pool and continued excellence in the classroom. His recognition places him among the top academic performers in Conference Carolinas men's swimming.
Lowe continues to shine as one of King's most consistent student-athletes, balancing competitive success with standout academic achievement. Her selection reflects her leadership and commitment both in and out of the water.
Houck adds Academic All-District honors to an already impressive résumé, showcasing her dedication to academic excellence while contributing significantly to the Tornado women's program.
