Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The King University Outdoor Track and Field team finishes the final day of the Track and Field Conference Championships with more podium finishers. The Men's Team fought its way to eighth place with 36.5 points, and the Women's Team finished in 11
th place with 26 points.

Men's Track and Field:

The first track event of the day saw King earn third place in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 41.16, earning the team six points. The relay team consisted of
Dominick Stevens,
Lynden Johnson,
Thomas Grant, and
Spencer Goins.
Â
The next event that King was in was the 100-meter dash finals, where Stevens and Johnson both competed. Stevens earned fifth while Johnson finished in sixth, scoring four and three points respectively. Stevens finished with a time of 10.36, and Johnson with a time of 10.38 seconds.

Both Stevens and Johson came back in the 200-meter dash finals, where Stevens earned fourth place with a time of 21.19 and scored five points, while Johson finished in seventh place in 21.88 seconds and scored two points.

In the field events,
Zach Stroin started the day with a seventh-place finish in the Javelin throw with a heave of 51.45 meters (168' 9" ft), which scored another two points.

Nathan Rosson was able to clear a height of 4.22 meters (13' 10" ft) in the Pole Vault, which earned him a seventh-place tie, scoring 1.5 points.

The final event of the day was the 4x400-meter relay, where King was able to run a time of 3:23.62, which earned them sixth place with a time of
Nikolis Townsend, Stevens,
Spencer Utsey, and Grant. With this, King would score their final three points.

Women's Track and Field:
Â
Ermay Vazquez Adame was the only King athlete to podium on the track in the final day of competition, finishing seventh in the 800-meter finals. She was able to finish with a time of 2:24.48, which scored two points for King.

The field side of events had
Keeyanah Foote compete in the Triple Jump and was able to leap her way into fifth place with a mark of 10.42 meters (34' 2.25" ft) and score King four points.
