Cheerleading Still Cheering Through Day One of Nationals

The Tornado are heading into the finals for the National Championship after a great first day and prelims.

Daytona Beach, Fla. – King University Cheerleading team competed on the first day of the NCA & NDA Cheerleading National Championship in the Intermediate Small Coed Division II prelims.

The team went in looking strong and hoping to keep the dream of the top five alive. In the competition, they scored a raw score of 77.2333. With that raw score, they were able to have a performance score of 83.3148 with an event score of 20.8287. This score was good enough for a prelims rank of 18.

The King team will now be getting prepared for the final round, which will take place at 2:00 pm tomorrow in the Intermediate Small Coed Division II group.
