Bristol, Tenn. The King University Flag Football team hosted its final Flag Football games today, playing Mount Saint Mary's and Ferrum, beating The Mount 35-6 and falling to Ferrum 58-24. The star power for King came from
Alyssa Ramos, who was able to dominate for King on both sides of the ball all day, making a big difference for King.

Mount Saint Mary's:

King would come out swinging this afternoon, scoring first off, a quick drive in the middle of the first quarter. King would have back-to-back drive pick sixes, putting King up 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Mount would come back in the second quarter with a strong drive resulting in the touchdown of their own, bringing the score to 21-6.

King would score the next 14 points unanswered to finish up with a final score of 35-6 after no one scored in the fourth quarter. With this win, which was the first ever win in program history, and for Head Coach Trevor Cameron.

Quarterback: Samantha Lee had 196 yards on 21 completions for 39 attempts, with 46 yards rushing on seven attempts and three passing touchdowns.

Top Receivers: Alyssa Ramos with 73 yards on nine catches with a touchdown.
Molly Turner had one catch for a touchdown of seven yards.
Hailey Mescall had three catches with 14 yards and a touchdown. Â
Jadee Kolozsy had 61 yards on six receptions.

Defensive Highlights: Nyja Arnold had 11 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and two sacks.
Kolozsy had seven tackles, a breakup, and two interceptions.
Ramos had three tackles, an interception, one tackle for loss, and a sack.

After the first win in program history, King was looking to add another one against Ferrum. King led early scoring on the first drive, leading 6-0. Ferrum came back in the first quarter, scoring a touchdown, putting the score to 7-6 in favor of Ferrum. King was able to score a touchdown in each quarter but was unable to stop Ferrum from putting up more each time, with a final score of 58-24.

Quarterback: Lee had 318 yards on 36 completions for 61 attempts with an additional 90 yards rushing on 13 attempts and three passing touchdowns.

Jadee Salvador had eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Hailey Mescall had nine catches with 65 yards.
