King Wrestling Finishes Final Day at NWCA National Duals

Cedar Falls, Iowa– The King University Men's Wrestling team finishes the NWCA National Duals with their final two matches of the weekend falling to Upper Iowa and Maryville.
 
King vs Upper Iowa:
King fell to a tough match against the Upper Iowa team 18 to 21.
 
The Tornado fell early at 125 and 133, losing by tech fall and decision, respectively. King bounced back at 141 with Hendricks winning by pin and then at 149 from Watkins by decision.
 
King would go on to win 174, 197, and 285, all by decision victories, not gaining enough points to come back.

King vs Maryville:
King fell to Maryville 10-23, a tough match, with six of the nine bouts coming to decisions to decide victories.
 
The Tornado battled hard against Maryville, winning matches at 141 and 149, both by decision, coming from Hendricks and Watkins, respectively. The final points for King came at 165 from Joe Bertrand in a major decision.
