Asmund Norum of the King University men's golf team has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Golfer of the Week for the third time this season after finishing tied for 10th at the Bearcat Classic.
Norum, a senior from Inderoy, Norway, finished the tournament at two-under 214. He had five birdies in the opening round en route to a score of 68, the lowest round score for the Tornado at the event. In the second round, he had three birdies, shooting a three-over 75 before carding a one-under 71 in the final round, where he had five birdies in the first nine holes.
The Tornado men will be back in action March 24-25 when they compete at the Tennessee River Rumble, hosted by Lincoln Memorial at Wind River GC in Louden, Tenn.
