CHARLESTON, W.V. – The University of Charleston defeated the King University men's volleyball team on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- Charleston scored the first three points before King came back to tie set at 4 on a kill from Grayson Stoudt.
- Bryce Pickett and Sean Haberthy helpd King score three straight points with a kill and an ace.
- Stoudt and Alex Barkley had solo blocks on the front row.
Second Set
- The Golden Eagles started the second set with a 9-1 run before the Tornado called a timeout.
- King scored six in a row, highlighted by two aces from Haberthy and a kill from Barkley.
- Pickett and Bueter each had three kills.
Third Set
- Pickett gave King a momentary lead in the third set with a kill and Stoudt followed it immediately with a service ace, giving the Tornado a 5-3 lead.
- Charleston quickly retook the lead and took the third set to win the match.
