King Men’s Volleyball Falls to Catawba in Non-Conference Road Match

The Tornado traveled to Catawba College on Friday evening for a non-conference matchup but was unable to slow the Indians’ efficient offense, falling 3–0 (25–14, 25–22, 25–19). First Set: Catawba Sets the Tone Early
Catawba came out strong and dictated the pace from the start.
  • The Indians built an early lead behind efficient hitting and aggressive play.
  • King was unable to recover as Catawba took the set 25–14.
Second Set: Tornado Battle, Indians Pull Away Late
King responded with a much stronger effort in the second frame.
  • The Tornado kept the set close, matching Catawba through much of the action.
  • Catawba capitalized late to secure a 25–22 win.
Third Set: Competitive Finish, Catawba Completes Sweep
King continued to compete in the final set but could not overcome Catawba's consistency.
