The King Invite wrapped up with a thrilling final day that saw King swimmers deliver standout performances, shatter school records, and secure team victories.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King Invite wrapped up with a thrilling final day that saw King swimmers deliver standout performances, shatter school records, and secure team victories.

The spotlight shone on Fabio Ricci, who captured first place in the Boys 100-yard freestyle. Ricci's time of 45.34 seconds not only earned him the win but also set a new school record, underscoring his dominance in the sprint event.

In the Women's 200-yard breaststroke, Alice Shoemans powered her way to victory with a time of 2:26.06, rewriting the school record books in the process. On the men's side, Carlos Arias delivered one of the most memorable swims of the meet, smashing the previous school record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a winning time of 2:02.32.

Relay teams also made their mark. The Women's 400-yard freestyle relay set a school record at 3:36.86, finishing second overall in a tightly contested race. The Men's 400-yard freestyle relay surged to victory, clocking in at 3:04.82 to secure first place.

The day's achievements culminated in the Women's team clinching the overall title with 767.5 points, a testament to their depth, consistency, and competitive spirit.

The final day of the King Invite showcased not only individual brilliance but also the collective strength of King's swimming program. With multiple school records broken and team victories secured, the meet will be remembered as a milestone in King's athletic history.
