Faith Morse has been named Specialist of the Week after a standout stretch that propelled the Tornado to three Conference Carolinas victories.
Morse was a defensive anchor across 10 sets, averaging an impressive
7.90 digs per set and recording at least 20 digs in every match. She opened the week with 21 digs in a sweep of Ferrum, then delivered a career-highlight performance with
33 digs in King's sweep of Mount Olive. Morse capped off her dominant run with 25 digs and 12 assists in a 3-1 win over Emmanuel.
Her consistency and leadership in the back row were critical to King's success, as the Tornado relied on her ability to keep rallies alive and transition the team into scoring opportunities.
Morse's recognition as Specialist of the Week underscores her impact as one of the conference's premier defensive players and a key veteran presence for King University.
