12 Tornado named NWCA Scholar All-Americans

BRISTOL, Tenn. – 12 members of the King University women's wrestling team have been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-Americans.

Representing the Tornado is Samara Chavez, Montana DeLawder, Anna DiCugno, Claire DiCugno, Aine Drury, Virginia Foard, Alexa Garcia, Danielle Garcia, Alyssa Guardiola, Avery Kibelbek, Melanie Mendoza and Yasmine Kalilliy Oliveira.

The 12 individuals recognized is third-most, behind East Stroudsburg University and North Central College, who both had 14 honorees. A total of 199 athletes were recognized, representing 47 institutions.
