KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The King University men's swimming team finished strong on the final day of the Conference Carolinas Swimming Championship. The Tornado finished fifth after setting numerous records at the four-day event.

HOW IT HAPPENED - WEDNESDAY
HOW IT HAPPENED - THURSDAY
- Ertuzun finished runner-up in the 200 yard individual medley, touching the wall in a school record time of 1:49.85. He was within one second of the event's winner.
- Ducastel also qualified for the final, finishing seventh in 1:55.35.
- Osowiecki qualified for the final 50 yard freestyle where he finished sixth with a time of 21.33.
- Sell qualified for the finals in the 500 yard freestyle, finishing eighth with a time of 4:45.26.
HOW IT HAPPENED - FRIDAY
- Ertuzun used a solid final 50-yard freestyle to comeback and win the 400 yard individual medley, finishing with a conference record time of 3:56.82.
- That lowered the previous mark by more than three seconds.
- Sell finished sixth in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 50.80 seconds.
- In the 100 yard breaststroke, Bezuidenhout finsihed fourth with a time of 57.13 seconds while Eliasen came in fifth with a time of 57.60 seconds.
- Ducastel broke his own school record in the 100 yard backstroke as he won the event with a time of 49.75 seconds.
- The 400 yard medley relay team of Ducastel, Eliasen, Sell and Osowicki finished third with a school record time of 3:23.35
HOW IT HAPPENED - SATURDAY
- Ducastel started the final session with a school record, winning the 200 yard backstroke in 1:48.10.
- Ertuzun finished sixth in 1:52.77.
- Osowiecki finished seventh in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 46.35 seconds.
- In the 200 yard breaststroke, McDaniel came in fourth with a time of 2:14.05.
- The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Ertuzun, Bezuidenhout, Ducastel and Osowiecki finished fourth a set a school record with a time of 3:05.92.
