WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The #3 King University women's wrestling team won the Patriot Duals Saturday afternoon, going 4-0 on the day, and 7-0 on the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED – Lindsey Wilson
- King won the first seven bouts, including pins by Melanie Mendoza and #7 Anna DiCugno, as well as four wins via forfeit.
- After Lindsey Wilson won the next two, Kenisha Jacsaint won via forfeit at 207 pounds as King took the dual 40-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Cumberlands Blue
- King won nine of the 10 bouts, and all of the bouts that were actually wrestled.
- #6 Clare Booe and #2 Montana DeLawder both won via pin, as well as #9 Alexa Garcia at 180 pounds.
- The Tornado also had four wins via tech fall, as well as another forfeit win for Jacsaint to close the dual at 207 pounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Campbellsville University Maroon
- After #9 Mia Zuniga won a forfeit at 103 pounds, King took the next three matches via pin, including a 45-second pin by Chavez.
- DiCugno won a 6-4 decision at 131 pounds, which was followed by Allicen Dillard winning via first period pin.
- Campbellsville took the next three bouts before Jacsaint won a 10-0 tech fall at 207 pounds, winning the dual 33-14.
HOW IT HAPPENED – Life University Green
- #8 Avery Kibelbek started the dual with a 10-0 win at 103 pounds before the Eagles won at 110 pounds.
- King then won the next five bouts, including a 30-second pin by Dillard and tech falls by A. DiCugno and #1 Claire DiCugno.
- Garcia also had a win by pin at 180 pounds before the Eagles won at 207 pounds, but couldn't close the gap.
