BRISTOL, Tenn. - Two members of the King University women's volleyball team were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District -
Gracia Love and
Riley Nelson.
Gracia, a junior from Greenback, Tennessee, appeared in 21 matches with 20 starts. She tallied 259 kills in the season and 12 service aces. On the front line, she also totaled 19 blocks. On Oct. 20 at Converse, she recorded a season-high 22 kills and 13 digs for one of her six double-double matches.
Nelson, a junior from Bluff City, Tennessee, started in all 23 matches for the Tornado. She had 171 kills and a team high 60 blocks from the front line. She recorded a season-high 15 kills in the Nov. 12th match against Belmont Abbey and 8 total blocks at Young Harris on Sept. 29, including seven solo blocks.
