BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's swimming team won their first two dual meets of the season Saturday, beating Lees-McRae 109-62 and beating Emory & Henry 127-57.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edu Elizaran Galan picked up a win in the 200 yard freestyle, finishing in 1:44.84.
- He also won the 100 yard backstroke, posting a finals time of 53.29 seconds, winning by nearly one second over second place.
- In the 50-yard freestyle, the Tornado finished 1-2, as Sam Osowiecki won with a finals time of 22.77 seconds, with Lorenzo Masi finishing in 22.78 seconds to take second.
- Masi earned a win in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 51.27 seconds.
- Oscar Kroos won in the 400 yard Individual Medley, touching the wall in 4:05.46, winning by over a minute over the second-place finisher from Emory & Henry.
- Kroos also placed first in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 4:49.03, making him the lone swimmer in the event to finish in under five minutes.
- Jack McDaniel finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:04.69, slightly ahead of Patricio Perezpuebla Quijano, who touched the wall in 1:05.24.
- The 200-yard medley relay team consisting of Elizaran Galan, Perezpuebla Quijano, Matthew Montenegro-Strunk and Osowiecki came second, finishing in 1:41.55.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team consisting of McDaniel, Kroos, Gabriel Noguera and Osowiecki finished in 1:32.19 to close the meet.
