Tornado finish 9th at Conference Championships

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The King University men's cross country team finished 9^th at the Conference Carolinas Championships held on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Sean Kilpatrick led the Tornado in the 8K race with his time of 26:43 to finish 30^th individually.
• He was followed by a trio of King runners – Lance Hatcher (27:39 – 53^rd), Evan Deichert (27:42 – 54^th), and Mason Sanders (27:45 – 55^th)
• King's top five runners averaged a speed of 27:35 and those top five finished within 1:22 of each other.
