Norum named Conference Carolinas men's golfer of the week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the third time this season, Asmund Norum of the King University men's golf team has been named the Conference Carolinas men's golfer of the week after a second-place finish at the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational.

Norum, a senior from Inderoy, Norway, opened the tournament with a 73 before carding a 70 in round two. In his final round, he carded a one-under par 71, including birdies on holes 8, 12 and 17.

The tournament was the close of the fall season for the Tornado, who will be back on the course Feb. 10-11 when they compete at the LMU Spring Kickoff.
