Katie Koenst set the school record in the 100 yard IM Saturday afternoon as the King University women's swimming team fell to Emory & Henry College, 100-93 in their home finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Katie Koenst set the school record in the 100 yard IM, finishing in 1:03.04 to claim first place.
- The Tornado 400 yard medley relay team consisting of Cassie Lowe, Abbie Erme, Reese Lauletta and Koenst won with a total time of 4:11.62.
- Cassie Lowe had a win in the 200 yard freestyle, finishing in 1:58.71.
- Lowe also won the 100 yard backstroke, touching the wall in 59.94 seconds.
- In the 100 yard breaststroke, Erme finished in 1:10.74 to take the win.
UP NEXT
- The Tornado will close the regular season Feb. 3 when they swim at UNC Pembroke. The meet is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
- The Wasps are off until they compete at the South Atlantic Conference championships Feb. 14-17.
