Cassie Lowe – Women's Swimmer of the Week
Senior
Cassie Lowe, from Jonesborough, Tennessee, delivered a stellar performance at the King Invitational.
- She captured victories in both the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.29) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.44).
- Lowe also played a pivotal role in the 800-yard freestyle relay, helping her team secure first place with a time of 8:01.13.
Her consistency and leadership continue to set the tone for King's women's program, making her a key figure as the season progresses.
Carlos Arias – Men's Swimmer of the Week
Freshman
Carlos Arias, from Guadalajara, Mexico, made an immediate impact in his debut season.
- Arias won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:02.32.
- He contributed to the 400-yard freestyle relay, which finished in 3:04.82.
- He set a school record in the 50-yard breaststroke with a split of 26.21 seconds during the 100-yard breaststroke, which he completed in 56.11 seconds.
- Arias also helped the 200-yard medley relay team to a strong finish at 1:32.11.
His record-setting performance underscores his potential to become one of the program's top swimmers in the years ahead.
