Caitlin Paulins of the King University women's track and field team won the Conference Carolinas championship in the pole vault to lead the Tornado at the 2023 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track and Field championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED - WOMEN
- Paulins won her first Outdoor Track and Field conference championship with a finals mark of 3.24 meters, besting second place by .20 meters, a performance that also earned her first team all-conference.
- Katy Neubert finished third in the 800 meters, with a finals time of 2:19.34, earning third team all-conference honors.
- Morgan Whitley earned second team all-conference honors in the steeplechase, setting a personal record of 11:58.99 to finish second.
- Annah Blankenship marked 27.82 meters in the javelin finals, placing fifth. Ruthie Fripp finished 10th in the event with a mark of 24.50 meters.
- Emily Ward finished seventh in the 10,000 meters, clocking a time of 42:54.55.
