BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Warren Davis of the King University men's volleyball team has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas men's volleyball Player of the Week for the third time this season after posting a career-high 25 kills in a five-set win over Belmont Abbey last week.
Davis, a junior from Mansfield, Texas, started all five sets for the Tornado, posting the 25 kills, along with 13 digs. It was his sixth double-double of the season.
Davis currently leads the Tornado attack, averaging 3.29 kills per set while starting 21 of the 22 matches that King has played this season. He has posted 10+ kills 16 times, including 10 of his last 11 matches played.
The Tornado will be back in action tomorrow, when they travel to face North Greenville in a Conference Carolinas matchup. First serve from Tigerville, S.C. is scheduled for 7 p.m.
