BRISTOL, Tenn. –
Warren Davis of the King University men's volleyball team has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Davis, a junior from Mansfield, Texas, started all three matches for the Tornado, averaging 3.42 kills and 2.00 digs per set. He had eight kills and five digs at Lincoln Memorial before recording a double-double Friday at Queens, posting 15 kills and 11 digs, along with a couple of block assists. Saturday against Fort Valley State, he had 18 kills, one shy of tying his career high, with two service aces and eight digs.
This is the second consecutive week that Davis has earned honors from the conference office, and is the fourth time this season that King has received this honor from Conference Carolinas.
King will be back on the court Wednesday when they host North Greenville, with first serve scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
