CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The King University men's cross country team finished eighth at Saturday morning's Conference Carolinas championship, with
Jordan Keith and
Josh Booher recording all-conference finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keith finished the course in a personal record time of 25:25.5, with an average mile of 5:06.9 to record his first career top-10 finish at the conference championships.
- Booher finished 11th, crossing the line in 25:41.8.
- Lance Hatcher completed the course in a personal best 26:52.0, finishing 40th at his first conference championships.
- Mason Sanders finished in 64th place, crossing the tape in 27:38.7 while Luke Childress finished in 31:28.3, setting a new personal record.
FOR THE FOES
- UNC Pembroke won the championship, with an average time of 25:40.
- Ronan O'Neill of Southern Wesleyan University was the individual champion, finishing the course in 24:45.9.
UP NEXT
- King will now turn their sights to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional championships, which are scheduled for Nov. 4 at the North Georgia Cross Country Course in Oakwood, Ga.
