Bristol, Tenn. – King University's cross country teams wrapped up their 2025 season at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships on November 8, hosted at the Student Center Complex. With a mix of experienced runners and emerging talent, the Tornado delivered determined performances in both the women's 6K and men's 10K races.
Women's 6K Results
Junior Ermay Vazquez led the Tornado women with a time of 24:04.92, followed by fellow junior
Emily Ward at 24:48.56. Freshman
Kailee-Ann Conner and senior Amanda Lowery rounded out the scoring with times of 27:07.15 and 27:58.12, respectively.

Sophomore
Cole Johnson posted a personal best of 35:25.55 to lead the men's team. Junior
Evan Deichert and sophomore
Spencer Utsey followed with times of 37:14.66 and 37:31.42. Juniors
Lance Hatcher and
Luke Childress completed the scoring in 38:08.39 and 39:15.61.
