JT Deppe and
Jack Sarnowski have been selected as the Conference Carolinas Player and Specialist of the week, respectively.
Deppe averaged 2.63 kills and 2.00 digs per set on the week for the Tornado, with an attack percentage of .302. He started the week with 10 kills and nine digs, along with four blocks in a five-set win over Belmont Abbey before posting 11 kills and seven digs against Queens, with a team-leading attack percentage of .458
Sarnowski, who was also named Specialist of the Week last week, had another monster week for King, averaging 9.38 assists and 1.13 points per set. He started the week with 43 assists against Belmont Abbey, while also recording three kills and three blocks before posting 32 assists in a sweep of Queens. On the season, he is averaging 9.27 assists per set, which is fourth-highest in the conference.
The Tornado are back in action Thursday when they travel for a road matchup with Tusculum.
