BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second time in as many weeks, King University men's golfer
Samuel Trueba was selected Co-Conference Carolinas Men's Golfer of the Week. On Tuesday, Trueba won his second tournament of the season, the Hurricane Invitational.
Trueba shot three rounds under par, starting with rounds of 69 and 67 on Monday. He closed the tournament by carding a 71 to finish with a stroke total of nine under 207. He won the event by two strokes.
Trueba was previously selected player of the week on February 16.
King is back in action again on Monday and Tuesday at the Bearcat Classic in Greenwood, S.C.
