EMORY, Va. – The King University men's swimming team led into the final relay, but were unable to top Emory & Henry College Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200 meter relay team consisting of Sam Osowiecki, Carson Eliasen, Dale Bruce and Jan Kuljak started the dual with a win.
- In the 200 meter freestyle, The Tornado took the top three spots, with Kuljak winning with a time of 2:01. Osowiecki finished 2nd, with Gideon Bezuidenhout coming in third.
- Bruce would pick up a win in the 200 meter individual medley, with Kessler Dayton coming in second place.
- Osowiecki won the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:01.80, with Bruce placing second.
- After Carson Eliasen won the 100 meter breaststroke to give King a lead heading into the 200 meter freestyle relay, King's team of Taylor Apps, Dayton, Caelan Sutton and Bezuidenhout finished 2nd, with a time of 1:44.17.
- Eliasen came second in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 26.99 seconds. Just behind him was Sutton, who finished in 27.48 seconds.
- In the 100 meter butterfly, Bezuidenhout finished with a time of 1:02.46, taking second.
UP NEXT
- King will be in action on Friday, Nov. 18 when they compete in the Bulldog Invitational in Union, Ky.
- The Wasps are off until Dec. 10 when they face Carson-Newman in a conference dual.
