BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their academic all-conference honorees presented by Barnes & Noble College for the fall season, and King University had 27 student-athletes recognized.
The cross country team had six honorees, including five on the men's side. The men's recipients are
Mason Thomas,
Jake Allison,
Josh Booher,
Jordan Keith and
Jesus Pacheco while
Katy Neubert earned the honor on the women's side.
On the pitch, five men's soccer players were recognized,
Gary Dunne,
Ruben Laureano,
Riley Moore,
Drew Ramsey and
Collin Teperino.
There were six women's soccer players that were named academic all-conference,
Maggie Danroth,
Katie Eggleston,
Kristal Garcia,
Hope Lissitz,
Erin Peters and
Veronica Roach.
On the court, 10 women's volleyball players were recognized,
Abigail Belcher,
Hailee Blankenship,
Caroline Cable,
Katie Harless,
Abigale Jayne,
Paula La Mendola,
Kara Miller,
Hannah Rogers,
Claire Wilson and
Jersey Wines.
About Award
The Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference Teams Presented by Barnes & Noble College consist of junior and senior student-athletes in the conference who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution. The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
