Kellan Kennedy of the King University men's volleyball team was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week following his performance in the season-opener for the Tornado.
In the match, Kennedy posted six kills on 10 attempts. He didn't commit and error for an attack percentage of .600. On the defensive side, he added three block assists in the match against Purdue Fort Wayne.
This marks the first weekly award for Kennedy in his career.
