Nataf leads King in opening round of Agnes McAmis Memorial

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The King University women's' golf team opened the Agnes McAmis Memorial with a round of 330 to land them in fourth place after the opening round. The Tornado were led by Roxane Nataf who is in third place.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf carded a four-over 76 in the opening round. She is in third place, seven strokes behind the leader.
  • Nicola Robertson is also in the top 10 with a score of 78, landing her in eighth place.
  • Coming in at 15th is Samantha Taylor who shot 84 in the opening round.
  • Shelby Zeiter and Morgan Powers rounded out the team scored with scores of 92.
  • Playing as an individual, Autumn Bergendahl shot 86.

FOR THE FOES

  • Shorter University leads the tournament with a score of 299. Newberry College is next at 314 and Tusculum College in third at 318.
  • Dallas Vaughn of Shorter is the individual leader with a score of three-under 69.

UP NEXT

  • The tournament concludes with the final round on Tuesday at Link Hills Golf and Country Club in Greeneville, Tenn.
