Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball team matched another program standard on Saturday when they defeated Quincy University 3-0. The win gave King their 11th straight win, marking the program record.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King got off to a hot start, taking a 5-1 lead behind a pair of Nick Drooker service aces.
- Quincy later scored three straight points to pull within 16-14, but the Tornado answered to close out the opening frame.
- Kiel Bell served up an ace, giving King a 21-16 lead as the Tornado went on to take the set 25-19.
- The Tornado again grabbed a 5-1 lead in the second set, this time behind a pair of kills from Eddie Moushikhian and one from Bell. That started the set.
- King later gained separation with a 4-0 run, taking a 16-9 lead. On the burst, Jeff Sprayberry recorded two of his five kills in the set and Bell ended it with one of his 10 kills in the match.
- The Tornado scored seven straight points to earn a chance at set point, and following a Hawk point, Jon Wheaton gave King the 25-15 with his only kill of the set.
- In the third set, Quincy opened up a 7-2 advantage before the Tornado started to work their way back.
- King scored eight of the next 11 points, evening the tally at 10-10.
- The Tornado then scored four straight points, started and ended with kills from Bell to take a 14-11 advantage.
- Quincy came back to even the score at 17, and again at 18 before King answered with a 5-0 run, taking a 23-18 advantage.
- Sprayberry started the run with a pair of kills and Drooker and Moushikhian ended with back-to-back terminations.
- Adrian Besson gave King the 25-20 win and 3-0 victory with his six kill of the match.
- Sprayberry and Bell led King with 10 kills apiece.
- Bell added 10 digs for the double-double.
- Moushikhian chipped in with eight kills and Jimmy Nuckolls posted nine digs.
- Drooker handed out 35 assists and three service aces.
FOR THE FOES
- Jarrod Kelso led Quincy with 11 kills while David Siebum chipped in with seven.
- Adam Rogan handed out 18 assists and Anthony Winter and Collin Merk led the defense with five kills each.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The win gives King their 11th straight victory, matching the longest winning streak in program history. King last won 11 straight matches in 2010.
- The double-double for Bell was his fourth of the season.

- King returns to Conference Carolinas play on Tuesday when they travel to take on Pfeiffer University. First serve from Misenheimer, N.C. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
- Quincy next travels to face Culver-Stockton College on Thursday.
