King University Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

King University continues to set the standard for excellence, both in competition and in the classroom, as recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in their 2026 All-Academic honors.

BRISTOL, Tenn.- King University continues to set the standard for excellence, both in competition and in the classroom, as recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in their 2026 All-Academic honors.

Dual Team Recognition
King University distinguished itself as one of the select institutions in Conference Carolinas with both its men's and women's track & field teams earning All-Academic Team honors. This dual achievement highlights the program's commitment to fostering student-athletes who succeed academically while competing at the highest collegiate level.

To receive this honor, each team maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, as certified by the university registrar, reflecting the hard work and discipline of both student-athletes and coaching staff.

Individual Spotlight: Lynden Johnson
On the men's side, standout athlete Lynden Johnson was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete. Johnson's recognition was earned by meeting rigorous criteria, including a cumulative GPA above 3.25 and athletic performance among the nation's best.
