BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University's cross country teams are ready to hit their stride in 2026 with a competitive schedule that features regional classics, high-profile invitationals, and championship meets. The Tornado will test their endurance and teamwork across the Southeast as they pursue success on both the conference and national stages.
The season opens on September 4 at the Bruins XC Classic, kicking off a fall campaign packed with marquee events. King continues at the Converse Kickoff on September 19 before toeing the line at the renowned Paul Short Run on October 2. The team then heads to the Royals Challenge on October 9 for another regional test.
Championship season begins November 7 with the Conference Carolinas Championships. The Tornado will then compete at the NCAA Division II Regional Championships on November 21, aiming to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships on December 4.
